1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how MOE Trading handles information when you visit moetrading.com, contact release support, or use a MOE Trading mobile comic experience. Individual releases may provide supplemental notices when their features or partners require additional detail.

2. Information we receive

The discovery website does not create reader accounts. You may choose to sign up for email updates, as described below. If you email support, we receive the address you use, your message, and any information or attachments you choose to provide. Our hosting provider may process basic request information, such as an IP address, browser type, requested page, and time of access, to deliver and protect the site.

In The Long Ambush, you can read available previews as a guest or choose to sign in with an email code. If you sign in, we process your email address, reader account identifier and authentication session to create and manage your account. We store your signed-in reading position, including the issue and place reached, so you can resume reading. Guest reading positions, reader preferences and completed downloads are stored on your device.

We use Supabase for reader authentication, account data, synced reading progress and comic delivery; Resend to deliver sign-in emails and optional email updates; WPX for support email; and Vercel for this website. These providers process the information needed to perform those services. Requests to online services can also produce technical logs, such as IP addresses, request times, request paths and error information, used to deliver, secure and troubleshoot the services. Sign-in emails are used for authentication.

Optional website analytics

With your permission, we use Google Analytics on the homepage, release catalog, and comic title pages to understand page visits, clicks to the reader or Google Play, and successful requests for signup confirmation. A link click does not tell us that you installed an app or completed a purchase. Website analytics is separate from optional reporting inside the reader app.

Analytics uses cookie identifiers and receives page and event information, browser and device details, referral information, and approximate location derived from network information. Google processes this data to provide analytics reports. Our tracking code does not send signup names or email addresses, reader account identifiers, or URL query strings and fragments. We disable advertising personalization and Google signals in this integration. We do not load the Google Analytics tag before you accept, and we do not load it on support, privacy, terms, email-confirmation, unsubscribe, or account-deletion pages.

Choose Accept analytics or Decline in the notice. We remember your choice in this browser for up to 180 days and configure analytics cookies with a 180-day lifetime. You can reopen here or in the footer. Declining stops future analytics collection by this site and removes its analytics cookies from this browser; it does not erase previously received reports. You can also clear site data in your browser. See Google’s Privacy Policy for its processing practices, or contact us about a privacy request.

Optional email updates

If you sign up, we process your email address, optional first name, selected interests, signup page, confirmation status and time, and the consent wording version. Resend stores subscriber records and sends confirmation, welcome and marketing emails. New subscribers receive marketing only after email confirmation. Signing into a reader app does not subscribe you to marketing.

The signup form loads Cloudflare Turnstile when you interact with it. This security service processes technical browser and network information to help prevent automated signups. Vercel processes the form request, and Resend handles delivery information, bounces, complaints and suppression records.

Use the unsubscribe or preference links in our emails to stop marketing or change your interests. You can also confirm a new interest selection on the website. Unsubscribing from marketing does not delete your reader account or stop sign-in emails. We retain subscriber information while you subscribe and may retain limited consent and suppression records to respect your choices and prevent unwanted mail. Unconfirmed records are excluded from marketing; confirmation links expire after 24 hours. To request deletion, contact support. Provider logs and backups follow their separate retention schedules.

Online reader requests are also subject to our infrastructure providers’ request logging. This can include approximate location inferred from your IP address, such as country or city, and technical diagnostics such as response times and error status. These records support service operation, troubleshooting and abuse prevention, including when you read as a guest. They are separate from your saved reading position.

App versions with Alerts & privacy offer three separate choices, all off initially. If you enable crash and download reports, Sentry receives crash or error information, stack locations, app and device details, app/update identifiers and limited download measurements. Signed-in download reports also use Supabase and can include your account identifier, issue, download duration, bytes transferred and a failure category. If you enable readership analytics while signed in, Supabase records your account identifier, the issue and edition opened or completed, and the event time. These reports help us troubleshoot the reader and understand readership. We do not enable session replay, advertising tracking or collection of your email address in Sentry reports.

If you enable new-issue alerts while signed in and allow notifications on your device, we associate a notification token and device registration with your reader account. Supabase stores the registration; Expo and, on Android, Google Firebase Cloud Messaging deliver alerts about publicly available issues. On Apple devices, delivery uses Apple Push Notification service. These services process device or installation identifiers needed for delivery. Alerts may continue after sign-out; turn them off in Alerts & privacy or your device settings if you no longer want them.

Supported app versions use Expo EAS Update to check for compatible app updates and download them over a secure connection. Update requests include technical app/runtime and platform information and a random installation identifier used to recognize app installations requesting updates. The service can also receive IP addresses and request logs. These update requests occur independently of the optional readership analytics choice.

3. App stores and purchases

Our apps may be distributed through Apple’s App Store and Google Play. Purchases are processed by the applicable store. MOE Trading does not directly receive or store your full payment-card information. Store services operate under their own terms and privacy policies.

4. Your choices

You can use guest reading without creating a reader account. You can control local app data through your device or app settings where those controls are available. You may contact us to ask about, correct, or request deletion of your personal information. To request deletion of your Outer Guard Comics reader account and its associated account data and synced reading progress, follow our account-deletion instructions. Account data is retained while your account remains active. Removing a download or uninstalling the app does not by itself delete your server account.

We delete support and account-deletion correspondence from our active mailboxes 30 days after your request is resolved. This period starts when the request is resolved, not when you first contact us. Provider backup copies follow their separate retention schedules.

Service logs and recovery copies are separate from active reader records and may remain for the provider’s retention period after account deletion. They are used for service operation, security and recovery. Contact us if you need information about retained data associated with your request.

Where Alerts & privacy is available, you can change each optional choice independently without losing guest reading or downloads. Turning off a reporting choice stops future reports and clears queued reports for that choice on the device; it does not immediately erase reports already received. Our nightly cleanup removes account-linked readership/download events and notification-delivery records older than 90 days, and notification registrations inactive for 180 days. Deleting your reader account removes its linked events, notification registrations and delivery records from the active reader database. Sentry reports and provider logs or backup copies follow their separate retention schedules; contact support about deletion requests for those records.

5. Children’s privacy

MOE Trading services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through support, contact us so we can review and address the request.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as releases, features, or data practices change. The date at the top identifies the latest revision. Material changes will be reflected here before they apply to a released app.

7. Contact

For privacy questions or requests, email support@moetrading.com. Include the relevant title and enough detail for us to understand your request; do not send payment-card information or account passwords.
